FRONT FILTRATION USING AN ASSEMBLY OF SEGMENTS OF SINTERED METAL TUBES

In a filtration plant, a porous tube (27) is obtained by the tight assembly of sintered tubular segments (28), each having an assembling surface (30) and a connection member (31) arranged between said surfaces and having a web (32) and transverse flanges (33). The flanges (33) of the member (31) are first inserted into the corresponding segments (28) with sealed tightening at the level of an anchoring section (35). Melting in a limited area is then carried out in order to weld the segments (28) without damaging the structure of the material of said segments (28) beyond the flange (33).
