NOISE EVALUATION DEVICE AND NOISE EVALUATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation device for clearly and easily evaluating contact sound of a spindle motor being a generating source of rocking sounds of HDD.

SOLUTION: The noise evaluation device 100 includes: a rigidity calculating part 110 for calculating vibration rigidity for vibration of a driving part rotating a disk being a recording medium; an eccentricity input part 120 for inputting eccentric parameters expressing eccentricity of the disk; and an evaluation part 130 for evaluating the size of noise accompanying vibration of the driving part based on the vibration rigidity and eccentricity parameters of the driving part.
