<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method of simulating a density value even by a printer having no density sensor by effectively utilizing a simulation result. <P>SOLUTION: In the image processing method, a density correcting process is performed based upon a full simulation result when a first simple simulation result and the full simulation result match each other. Further, when a second simple simulation result and the full simulation result match each other, the full simulation result is corrected and the density correcting process is performed based upon the corrected full simulation result. When the second simple simulation result and the full simulation result do not match each other, or when a user does not satisfy a print result, full simulation is performed again. Based upon a result of the full simulation which is performed again, a density correcting process is carried out. When the user does not satisfy the density correcting process (printing process) based upon the full simulation result, a simulation coefficient is updated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
