<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thick-film resistor that can increase resistance and improve anti-noise characteristics and further can finely adjust the resistance value in a plane type thick-film resistor. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of electrodes and a resistance wire made of a thick-film resistor are formed on an insulating substrate and have the following features. One feature is that a plurality of resistance wires are used and are arranged in parallel, each one end is connected to one of the pair of electrodes, and the other end is connected to the other of the pair of electrodes via at least one trimmable wiring. The other feature is that at least one resistance wire is sufficient instead of the above feature, and a plurality of trimmable wires are provided. One end of the resistance wire is connected to one of the pair of electrodes.
