PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack apparatus which will not inhibit operation of a degasification mechanism by molten resin, even if a cell is abnormally heated and a resin component therearound is melted. SOLUTION: In the battery pack apparatus in which a plurality of secondary batteries 11 are combined, the secondary batteries 11 are constituted of body cases 11a and protruding portions 11b, which are formed on the upper surfaces thereof and have degasifying portions 15 on the upper parts. The plurality of secondary batteries 11 are stored in box-like resin components 16, and in each protruding portion 11b, each protective member 18, which covers the degasifying portion 15 thereof at a regular spacing, is disposed. This protective member 18 has an open portion 18a, in a direction other than the upper direction. In addition, its material has a melting point which is higher than that of each resin component.
