LEAKAGE DETECTING TUBE AND HEAT EXCHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage detecting tube having high heat exchange performance and excellent productivity and a heat exchanger using the leakage detecting tube. SOLUTION: The leakage detecting tube 10A is provided with an inner tube 13 and an outer tube 12 suitable for the outer side of the inner tube 13. A refrigerant is made to flow inside the inner tube 13 and water is made to flow outside the outer tube 12. Leakage of the refrigerant or the water is detected by a leakage passage 17 formed between the inner tube 13 and the outer tube 12. The inner tube 13 is a smooth tube, and at least one tube end part at both ends of the inner tube 13 is protruded from a tube end part of the outer tube 12. The outer tube 12 has an irregular part 12B along the tube axial direction in at least one region of the overall length. A portion of the irregular part 12B of the outer tube 12 having the minimum diameter is suitable for the inner tube 13. The leakage passage 17 is formed between the outer peripheral face of the inner tube 13 and the inner peripheral face of the outer tube 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
