摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic gain control circuit suitable for signal with a high crest factor, which can limit signal clipping to a proper frequency and has potential for improvement effects in an EVM value and BER owing to fast gain adjustment processing. SOLUTION: The automatic gain control circuit 3, which receives a digital modulation signal 25 amplified by an amplifying circuit 2 and generates control signals 21, 23 for correcting the gain of the amplifying circuit 2 according to a signal level of the digital modulation signal 25, detects a clipping frequency of signal level of the modulation signal 25, and generates the control signals 21, 23 for correcting the gain to a larger value as the clipping frequency becomes higher.
