<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge head which can prevent the degradation of a piezoelectric element caused by the depolarization without needing a special driving circuit while being able to perform a stable droplet-discharge. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the liquid droplet discharge head which is equipped with a nozzle plate with nozzles, a channel substrate which forms a pressure chamber communicating with the above nozzles by piling up the above nozzle plate, and a piezoelectric element installed in the wall which composes the above pressure chamber, a rectification means for suppressing the current which flows in the direction opposite to the polarization direction of the above piezoelectric element is installed.
