SEALING MATERIAL FOR ORGANIC EL DISPLAY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display with high reliability by creating a sealing material for the display which has both a low softening characteristic and a high water resistance and is suitable for local heating by an irradiating light such as a laser beam. SOLUTION: In the sealing material for the organic EL display, the material contains 55-100 vol.% of a bismuth-based glass powder and 0-45 vol.% of a fire-resistant filler powder, and that the bismuth-based glass powder contains 0.2-15 mass% of (CuO+Fe2O3) as a glass composition.
