<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy of angular velocity and to reduce the effect caused by an external force from a detection direction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A communication terminal discrimination apparatus 4 includes: a test pattern table storage section for storing a test pattern table wherein it is described by OS class whether an address resolution protocol (ARP) table can be rewritten in response to an ARP reply and an ARP request in a prescribed communication status; an ARP table acquisition section for sending out the ARP reply and ARP request to a terminal device 5 in the prescribed communication status and acquiring the situation of ARP table rewrite in the terminal device 5 in response to the sent-out ARP reply and ARP request; and a software class discrimination section for discriminating the class of an OS packaged in the terminal device 5 by comparing the situation of ARP table rewrite acquired by the ARP table acquisition section with the test pattern table stored in the test pattern table storage section.
