Disclosed are: a therapeutic agent for respiratory diseases including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and pulmonary adenomatosis; a therapeutic agent for allergic diseases including bronchial asthma, atopic dermatitis and allergic rhinitis; a novel inhibitor of an IL-13-induced reaction; a novel inhibitor of the production of eotaxin; a novel therapeutic or prophylactic agent for IL-13-induced interstitial lung disease; a novel therapeutic agent for tumors; and an IL-17 production promoter, a Th2 differentiation inhibitor and a therapeutic agent for asthma, each of which comprises siRNA as an active ingredient and can induce RNA interference. Specifically disclosed are: a therapeutic agent for respiratory diseases and others, each of which comprises SOCS1 as an active ingredient; and an agent and others, each of which comprises siRNA for SOCS3 as an active ingredient.
