摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an adhesion property and adhesion between an electrolyte membrane and a catalyst electrode, and to keep the adhesion with time as well. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of this membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell includes a first process (step S100) of preparing an electrolyte membrane formed of a first polymer electrolyte. The manufacturing method also includes a second process of arranging, at least on one-side surface of the electrolyte membrane, a low-molecular-weight electrolyte layer having a second polymer electrolyte which has the same atom groups as atom groups being constituent units of a main chain and a side chain of the first polymer electrolyte, and has smaller molecular weight wherein the difference of an EW (Equivalent Weight) value with respect to that of the first polymer electrolyte is within 10% (step S120), and arranging an electrode having a catalyst on the low-molecular-weight electrolyte layer.
