METHOD FOR RECYCLING NYLON 6 PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering caprolactam in the chemical recycling of a nylon 6 product containing titanium oxide and a water-repellant attached by water repellent processing, wherein foaming of depolymerized materials is suppressed while avoiding equipment trouble.

SOLUTION: This method for recycling the nylon 6 product includes depolymerizing the nylon 6 product containing titanium oxide and a water-repellant under conditions of the following (1) and/or (2): (1) the amount of the water-repellant is 2.0 mass% or below to the depolymerized materials; and (2) the amount of titanium oxide is 0.9 mass% or below to the depolymerized materials.
