PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive to realize electric power saving by reducing the number of switching times from a power saving mode to an energizing mode. SOLUTION: Under the condition that the printing direction of a print job is issued during the power saving mode except a late-night zone, when the degree of priority of the print job is low and the residual amount of ink is enough, printing of print data is managed to be executed during the late-night time zone (S180), while when the degree of priority of the print jog is low and the residual amount of ink is not enough, printing of print data is managed to be executed during the energizing time zone of the next day (S200). When its degree of priority is high and the residual amount of ink is enough, the power saving mode is changed over to the energizing mode and directed print data and print data stored in a late-night print area are printed immediately (S260), while when its degree of priority is high and the residual amount of ink is not enough, the power saving mode is changed over to the energizing mode and, after the prior notice of the running out of ink is performed (S280), the directed print data and the print data stored in the late-night print area are printed immediately and, when the running out of ink issues, the running out is informed to a user and, after the exchanging ink is executed by the user, printing is continued (S300).
