<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling fan with good installability, which can certainly prevent the damage of ceiling fan body due to drop-off or damages of suspending parts without forgetting to attach a fall prevention wire. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A ball-shaped ball joint 9 is fixed on an upper part of a pipe 6 to which the ceiling fan body 1 is connected, and a body suspending bracket 12 provided with a concave spherical face 13 is attached to a fixing bracket 15 fixed to a ceiling 16. When the ball joint 9 is mounted on the concave spherical face 13 of the body suspending bracket 12, a hook part 37 provided to an end portion of the fall prevention wire 36 can be hooked on a wire hook part 28 of the fall prevention wire attachment 17 fixed to the fixing bracket 15.
