FLOATING FOREIGN SUBSTANCE RECOVERY DEVICE

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating foreign substance recovery device recovering foreign substances floating on a clean tank. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Chips and coolant from a machine tool 2 are received by a dirty tank 10 and the coolant filtered by a filtration drum is received by a first coolant tank 20. The coolant is introduced into a second coolant tank 30 via a clean pipe 40. The second coolant tank 30 is provided with a pump 31 at a part near a substantial center in the plan view separated from circumferential walls and the pump 31 pumps up the coolant from the second coolant tank 30 and circulates it through the machine tool 2. The second clean tank 30 has a partition plate 4 having its base at a position higher than the suction port of the pump 31. The partition plate 4 is spirally formed with its radius gradually shortened from the sidewall about the pump 31 and collects the foreign substances floating on swirl generated by the pump, to be recovered by an oil skimmer 34.
