PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling-embedded luminaire with increased working efficiency. SOLUTION: The luminaire includes a luminaire body 2 holding a light source and embedded in the ceiling surface. The luminaire body 2 has: a frame body 21 having an annular form surrounding the light source and inserted into a recessed hole CE1 piercing a ceiling material CE and two first locking springs 24; and one second locking spring 25 locked to the ceiling material CE. A temporarily holding protruded part 24d locked to the ceiling material CE when temporarily held to the ceiling material CE is protruded from the end of each first locking spring 24. The second locking spring 25 is shorter than the first locking spring. The temporarily holding protruded part 24d is attached to and detached from the ceiling material CE simply by operating two first locking springs 24 out of three locking springs 24, 25, and simultaneous operation of three locking springs 24, 25 is not needed, thereby increasing the workability as compared with a case where three first locking springs 24 are used instead of the locking springs 24, 25.
