<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily take natural light from the outside in a room in a close building in simple constitution. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This external light takein plate is stuck to the surface of a windowpane 3, or disposed in the whole of an inner peripheral frame of a window frame sash 34 in use, and provided with a prism function of refracting external light 5 applied from the sky to the building 1 obliquely downward to be taken in the interior 6 side, whereby the room can be made bright by natural light without an artificial illuminator or the like, and especially in a close dwelling house or building, a large amount of external light can be taken in the room.
