EYE MEMBER OF HORIZONTAL ARRANGEMENT TYPE DAMPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect dust boots covering a sliding space between a shaft and a bush from snow or ice. SOLUTION: The shaft 15 having a spherical part 15A extends vertically through an eye member 10 fixed at an end of a damper 1 arranged horizontally. The eye member 10 is equipped with the bush 13 provided with a spherical bearing slidingly contacting the spherical part 15A of the shaft 15; and a pair of dust boots 19 and 20 arranged at the top and bottom of the bush 13 which shield a sliding part between the spherical part 15A and the spherical bearing from the exterior.
