<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of cooling a drive device of which temperature is raised with a simple structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The elevator device is provided with a drive device 5, arranged at an upper part in a hoistway 1, for moving the car 2 up and down, a control device 6, connected with the drive device 5, for controlling drive of the drive device 5, a duct 7, in which an upper end part is arranged to face against the drive device 5 and a lower end part extends downward along a side wall of the hoistway 1 and an air blow device 8 for feeding air from the lower end part of the duct 7 and colliding the air from the upper end part of the duct 7 to the drive device 5.
