FLEXIBLE POWER OFFSET ASSIGNMENTS FOR ACQUISITION INDICATOR CHANNELS

<p>A method for wireless communications is provided. The method includes generating at least one adjustable power parameter for an acquisition indicator channel (AICH) and generating at least one adjustable power parameter for an extended acquisition indicator channel (E-AICH). The method also includes generating at least one power offset representing differences between the AICH and the E-AICH.</p>
