The method involves storing a program listing in a radio receiver. Indications of receivable radio program are represented on corresponding program listing settings during invoking of the program listing. Folders are invoked from the program listing by selection of indications of the folders and/or by manual input of a program setting number belonging to the program listing settings of the folders by operating elements of the radio receiver. Program content of a proxy program belonging to the folders is represented during invoking of the folders.
