<p>A denture which comprises an artificial tooth, a denture base supporting the artificial tooth and comprising polymethyl methacrylate as a main component, and a relining material disposed on that surface of the denture base which is to be fixed to the human body, wherein the relining material is a silicone rubber obtained by adding ethylene dimethacrylate to a silicone represented by the general formula 1 (m+n is 50 to 2,000) and polymerizing the mixture in a gel state. Thus, the strength of bonding between the denture base (resin) and the relining material is significantly improved by a mechanism different from that in the case of a silicone rubber to which MMA has been added.</p> |
