PURPOSE: An offline product search system using a portable terminal and a method thereof are provided to search offline products managed by RFID tag information. CONSTITUTION: An offline product search system using a portable terminal(100) comprises a transceiver(210), a store information search unit(220), a map information providing unit(230), and a product information providing unit(240). The transceiver receives a product search word and location information from the portable terminal. The store information search unit searches offline mall information in which products related to the product search word exist. The map information providing unit indicates the offline mall information on a map and provides the map to the portable terminal.
