<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostrictive actuator with a new structure, capable of obtaining a larger drive force and displacement amount. <P>SOLUTION: A support parts 14 projecting above the outer peripheral surface of a core member 12 are provided in a plurality of portions separated from each other in the longitudinal direction of the core member 12, and the inner peripheral surface 42 of the cylindrical dielectric sheet 16 wound around the core member 12 is overlapped on the outer peripheral surface 22 of the support parts 14, to cause spaces 44 between the core members 12 and the dielectric sheet 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
