<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform tracking control with high accuracy even when stray light occurs between layers of an optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: An optical disk apparatus 10 stores, in a ROM 11B of a control unit 11, a correction coefficient table TBL which stores correction coefficients Ks which are previously obtained with respect to a plurality of optical disks 100 having various reflectance ratios RT and the reflectance ratios RT in association with each other. Thereafter, the optical disk apparatus 10, when recording or reproducing information, measures the reflectance R of each recording layer Y to calculate a reflectance ratio RT, reads out a correction coefficient Ks associated with the reflectance ratio RT from the correction coefficient table TBL, and when a recording layer Y0 of an optical disk 100 is a target recording layer YG, calculates a tracking error signal STE3 in accordance with expression (4) using the correction coefficient Ks, thereby making it possible to perform highly accurate tracking control based on a one-beam PP method, on the basis of the tracking error signal STE3 from which an influence of a stray light beam LS is removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
