METHOD FOR PRODUCING ARTIFICIAL SKIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial skin and wound dressing containing neither animal-derived material nor pathogen and having excellent biocompatibility.

SOLUTION: This method for producing an artificial skin includes the steps of: (A) forming a dermal layer by solidifying a mixture of dermal fibroblasts and a peptide hydrogel having a fibrous structure; and (B) forming an epidermal layer by seeding and culturing skin keratinocytes on the dermal layer obtained in the step (A).
