<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce capacity of a memory required when image data in which a plurality of graphic objects are overlapped is generated. <P>SOLUTION: This image processor is provided with: an edge detection part 104 which detects edge pixels constituting contours of each graphic object; a master stencil generation part 105 which discriminates overlapped states of respective graphic objects based on the edge pixels of respecdtive graphic objects detected by the edge detection part 104, determines graphic rules of each region to be partitioned according to the overlapped states of respective graphic objects to generate a master stencil including edge information indicating the edge pixels and graphic rule information indicating the graphic rules of each region; and a synthetic processing part 106 which synthesizes the image data of each graphic object based on the edge information and the graphic rules indicated in a master stencil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
