<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management program for monitoring by duplicating or moving user data provided to a client and preventing the user data from being used for purpose other than the original purpose. <P>SOLUTION: When performing an operation to duplicate or move the user data 3 from an active window of a client computer 12 to another window only by an operation of a mouse 70, the movement of a mouse pointer is limited. When duplicating or moving the user data 3 through a clipboard, contents of the clipboard are moved to another memory to limit duplication or movement. The limitation is performed by referring to a value of a control target list 250.
