<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect an azimuth angle of a target by a radar system by using a detected position from an image recognition device operated at a different cycle. <P>SOLUTION: The azimuth angle of the target is accurately detected by providing the radar system with an input means for inputting the detected position from the image recognition device detecting a position of the target each first cycle on the basis of a photographed image of a search area, an azimuth angle estimating means for estimating the azimuth angle of the target each second cycle shorter than the first cycle on the basis of a plurality of the input detected positions, and an azimuth angle detecting means for detecting the azimuth angle of the target in units of first azimuth angles in the estimated azimuth angle vicinity and in units of second azimuth angles larger than the first azimuth angles in other zones of the search area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
