<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which can obtain high image density and high thin wire reproducibility in the obtained visible image, and can form the image of high image quality having high resolution even when being used over a long period of time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the toner at least comprising: a binding resin composed of a polyester resin; coloring particles having a coloring agent; and external additive particulates, the average circularity is 0.950 to 0.990, the median size based on volume is 4.5 to 8.0 μm, the grain size dispersion degree (CV<SB>VOL</SB>value) is 15 to 25, and also, metal selected from titanium, germanium and aluminum is comprised in the ratio of 10 to 1,500 ppm, and the external additive particulates are composed of a titanic acid compound having an iron content of 100 to 1,000 ppm.
