<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cell capable of softly supporting the buttocks of a seating person and surely detecting the leakage of an airbag. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A tubular member 13 provided in an air chamber AR is formed from a material with rubber elasticity so as to, even if the airbag 11 is completely crushed by, for example, breaking, eliminate the buttocks of the seating person from being placed on a metal member like a case of having a metal coil spring in the air chamber AR. The tubular member 13 is formed to extend upward from the upper face side of a thin film portion 12b and has a bellows portion 13c, so that, when the airbag 11 is crushed and a downward force is applied to the upper end side of the tubular member 13, principally the bellows portion 13c in the tubular member 13 is vertically elastically deformed, while the thin film portion 12b is downward elastically deformed and the deformation of the thin film portion 12b is detected by a switch type sensor 14.
