PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat retaining cover capable of stably holding a shape over a long period, without losing heat reserving performance, with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This heat retaining cover 10 has a heat retaining material 20 having an inner surface part 21 abutting on a pipe via a covering material 40, an outer surface part 22 opposed to this inner surface part 21 and an end surface part 23 except for the inner surface part 21 and the outer surface part 22, a reinforcing plate 30 arranged in the whole end surface part 23 or the partial end surface part 23, and the covering material 40 for covering so as to wrap the heat retaining material 20 and the reinforcing plate 30.
