PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein since a trimming tool is used manually, time more than necessary is required for chamfering and trimming work. SOLUTION: This chamfering tool is provided with an inner socket 1 opened axially; a chamfering cutter 2 provided within the inner socket 1; and a large-diameter outer socket 3 provided to surround an open end side of the inner socket 1. The chamfering cutter 2 is provided within the inner socket 1 displaceably to adjust the position of the cutter 2 in accordance with the length of a bolt and a pin tail. The outer socket 3 is provided with opening parts 3a, 3a... to release chips such as iron powder to outside of the socket 3 and with a guide member 3b provided within the socket 3 displaceably to guide the chips to the opening parts 3a, 3a..., and a cover (collection cover) 4 for collecting the chips such as iron powder is fitted on the outer periphery of the socket 3.
