<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal implementing many functions and easily reduced in size, and a method for implementing the functions. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A strap 200 is connected to a strap socket 117. A component corresponding to a function to be implemented by the mobile communication terminal is mounted on the strap 200. A strap determination part 111 determines the kind of the strap 200 connected to the strap socket 117.
