PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil device of a linear actuator for improving reliability without need of fixing a coil wire by bonding and the like and to provide the linear actuator. SOLUTION: In one coil wire W forming coils 16 and 18 arranged in a stator, a start end Ws is engaged with a first terminal 44, and the wire is wound around a bobbin 15 so as to form the coil 16. A connection wire Wc, which is cabled in a guide groove 42 to connect the coils 16 and 18 in series, is formed and the wire is wound around a bobbin 17 in an inverted winding direction to form the coil 18. Then the wire is cabled again in the guide groove 42 to form a return wire Wr. The wire is wound again around the bobbin 15 in an inverted winding direction by a prescribed number of adjusting times, and a trailing end We is engaged with a second terminal 45.
