<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for strictly identifying whether chicken meat, hen's egg or its processed food product is derived from Nagoya cochin. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for DNA identification of chicken-derived sample includes analyzing the microsatellite polymorphism of identification number ABR0257 in a chicken genome by using a sample containing a DNA extracted from chicken meat, hen's egg or its processed food product, when the microsatellite polymorphism of identification number ABR0257 is composed of a DNA having a base sequence different from any of a plurality of base sequences composed of specific sequences, it is indicated that the sample contains cells derived from a chicken of a variety different from that of Nagoya cochin.
