J., 60, King's Head Hill, both in Chingford, Essex. Sept. 25, 1933, No. 7291/35. Divided out of 426,131. [Class 42 (ii)] In a measuring machine in which the indicators are returned to zero by the shortest possible route, such as is described in Specifications 387,358, 396,777, and 396,812, the fractions indicators are zeroized by a heart-shaped cam 121 on the indicator shaft and a lever 119 pulled by a light spring 123. To prevent the inertia of the indicators carrying them beyond the zero position the lever 119 is locked by a spring catch 125 directly the zero is reached. This catch is put out of action when a new measurement is to be made by a tongue 117 linked to the shaft 56 of the presser-roll carrier. |
