PURPOSE: A screw decanter centrifuge with a soundproof plate embedded in a rotator of an outer bowl is provided to reduce the noise generated when the outer bowl rotates at high speed to dehydrate and concentrate sludge. CONSTITUTION: A screw decanter centrifuge comprises a soundproof plate(1), a round-head bolt, and a groove. The plate reduces the noise generated by a hexagonal wrench bolt(516) and holes(517,518) for the hexagonal wrench bolt when an outer bowl(506) rotates at high speed. The round-head bolt reduces the noise and fixes the soundproof plate to a shaft(515) or outer taper bowl(507). The groove is formed on the shaft or outer taper bowl in order for the round-head bolt to be screw-combined thereto. |
