<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely stop an electrical device when it exceeds durable years. <P>SOLUTION: In a life monitoring device 2 incorporated in the electrical device 1, a latching relay 21 closes a power supply path to a main function part 100 in the electrical device 1. At the time of shipping the electrical device 1, a manufacturer depresses an operation key 22, and a timer part 20 is started. The timer part 20 clocks a lapse time from starting time after shipping. When the lapse time from starting time reaches the life time, the timer part 20 outputs a break signal to the latching relay 21.
