PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a backlight module frame, which has a high accuracy of positioning and a high production efficiency and a high rate of good product. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the backlight module frame includes a step in which a positioning device of which at least one positioning portion is arranged at a corner portion and at least two plate units including at least one positioning convex portion for corresponding to the positioning portion are prepared, a step in which at least two of the plate units are jointed with the positioning device, a step in which the plate units are welded to produce a semifinished product of the backlight module frame, and a step in which the semifinished product is press-processed to produce the backlight module frame.
