<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply apparatus with a built-in battery which reduces standby power consumption by controlling the oscillation of a DC power supply device if needed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The power supply apparatus includes a DC power supply device, an emergency power supply to be used outside, namely a battery unit and a DC-DC conversion circuit section. Due to this structure, when charging of the built-in battery is finished by power supply from the DC power supply and a charging control circuit and a mobile terminal is not connected to the output of the apparatus, the switching operation of the DC power supply device is limited. At that time, by driving an oscillation control circuit by a very small current from the battery as a power source, the switching operation of the DC power supply device is controlled or stopped, thereby reducing standby power consumption of the apparatus and increasing the safety.
