<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for door of a vending machine or the like capable of reducing size of a cam for moving a slider for controlling operation of a latch for restraining protrusion of a handle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this lock device for door, the latches 5, 5 arranged in a shaft part 31 of the handle 3 are engaged with engaging recessed parts 14, respectively, to restrain protrusion of the handle. The slider 8 is moved, protruding parts 5b, 5b of the latches are moved into recessed parts 8b, 8b, respectively, to release engagement, and the handle 3 is protruded by a spring 4 to unlock the door. A cam mechanism 7 is provided at a position being adjacent to the slider. A lever 72 is arranged between the cam 71 of the cam mechanism and the slider. The cam is turned by a motor unit 6, and the lever is moved to push and move the slider. The length of the maximum radius of the cam from an output shaft 6a of the motor unit is reduced by the thickness from a contact position of the cam and the lever to a contact position of the lever and the slider. A pin 75 attached to the lever is moved by a plate 9, and the lever and the slider are moved to unlock the door in emergency. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
