PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting an antibody-binding physiologically active substance preventing nonspecific adsorption of a physiologically active substance, such as protein out of the purpose and serving as the purpose, without blocking operations, and a measurement kit used for the detection method. SOLUTION: This method of detecting the antibody-binding physiologically active substance includes a process to bind an antibody on an insoluble carrier having on the surface a high molecular substance made by copolymerizing (A) an ethylene-based unsaturated polymeric monomer having an alkylene glycol residual group and (B) an ethylene-based unsaturated polymeric monomer having a crosslinkable functional group by solving the antibody which specifically binds the physiologically active substance into a high-concentration phosphate buffer solution into contact with the solution, and a process to make contact with a specimen and to specifically bind the antibody-binding physiologically active substance in the specimen with the antibody on the insoluble carrier.
