PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting method by which a partial thermosetting treatment of a complicated shape can simply be performed regardless of the shape of an objective material, and to provide a thermosetting product obtained by the treatment method. SOLUTION: Microwave is emitted to the desired position of the surface containing a coil-like carbon material 31 in the surface of the objective material 2 to absorb the microwave into the coil-like carbon material, and the coil-like carbon material 31 is heat-generated, thereby performing the thermosetting treatment.
