<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing with a rotation sensor capable of stably detecting the rotation of an inner ring even in use in an existing environment of a magnetic substance and an external magnetic field, in an inexpensive rotation sensor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: By constituting the rotation sensor so that a rotor 6 of arranging a large number of sits 6a for passing light at an equal interval in the circumferential direction of an outer peripheral part is installed on one end side of the inner ring 1 being a rotary bearing ring, and a light emitting element 7a for emitting the light toward the outer peripheral part of the rotor 6 and a light receiving element 7b for receiving the light passing through the slits 6a accompanied by the rotation of the rotor 6 are oppositely arranged on the same one side as the rotor installing side of an outer ring 2 being a fixed bearing ring, and a photointerrupter 7 is installed for outputting a pulse signal of the light received by the light receiving element 7b, and the rotation of the inner ring 1 is detected, the inexpensive rotation sensor can stably detect the rotation of the inner ring 1 even in use in the existing environment of the magnetic substance and the external magnetic field.
