Disclosed is a compound having a deodorizing activity against bad odors. The compound is represented by formula (I). In formula (I), R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an acyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and a group represented by formula (II); R6 is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an acyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an acyloxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms, an aldehyde group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and a group represented by formula (III); R7 is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an acyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an acyloxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and a group represented by formula (III); R8, R9 and R10 are independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and an acyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and R11 is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an acyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and an acyloxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
