The arrangement (1) has an axially radial round table bearing (4) comprising an inner race part (7) and an outer counter bearing race part (5), where the outer race part accommodates the inner race part. The inner race part is connected with a stationary bearing element i.e. round table (2), and the outer race part is connected with a rotary bearing element i.e. machine frame (3). An annular axial bearing (12) is provided in parallel connection to the radial round table bearing and is directly coupled with the bearing elements by axial damping elements (13) i.e. cushioning ring.
