A thermal- and acoustic-insulation assembly for an installation or equipment has flat insulating elements (12) which are arranged laterally abutting against one another in one or more layers on a wall (24) of the insulation. A rod (14,16) is designed for rigid mounting on the wall of the installation and is provided with releasable retention elements (18,20,22) which are designed so as to hold the insulating elements on the installation wall. - Independent claims are included for (a) an installation with thermal and/or acoustic insulation and (b) for a method for thermal and/or acoustic insulation of an installation.
