<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio apparatus can reduce power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A radio apparatus includes a receiving circuit 10 which receives reception signal, and a communication control circuit 12 which processes the reception signal. The receiving circuit 10 includes a demodulation circuit 14, a detection circuit 16, and a data preservation circuit 18. The demodulation circuit 14 demodulates the reception signal to demodulated data. The detection circuit 16 analyzes the demodulated data to detect whether a signal addressed to itself is present or not in the reception signal.
